The Fans Have Spoken...

"Big Nasty" Jason Watts received fifty percent of the votes from fans of Pro Wrestling Uprising and will be given a PWU Championship bout in the future. On the 12.19.2008 update video, Watts challenged current PWU World Champion "Cast Iron" Cothern to a match "anytime, anywhere." Now he will get his opportunity.

Watts has made a name for himself on the Southern California Independent Wrestling Scene, winning the 2007 Rookie of the Year Award from SoCalUncensored as well as the top championships in Xtreme Zone Wrestling and EPIC Pro Wrestling WAR. Watts defeated Ein Idol at the first PWU "Clash For The Cure" event in May 2007 and also fought against Team HDCW at EPIC WAR back in July 2008.

Wrestlers from all around the globe are challenging for the PWU World Championship. Here in California we have seen Watts as well as former IWL Champion Justin Ryke place their bids for a shot at the gold. In the midwest, Shane Morbid and Eric Fantabulous have upcoming matches, and from our neighbor to the north, The Canadian Red Devil and Kevin Braveheart have challenged for the title.

It seems like PWU World Champion "Cast Iron" Cothern will have his hands full trying to keep the strap around his waist.

The Announcement...

HDCW (PWU) vs. EPIC WAR vs. IWL

Here's your chance to catch up on the latest. Just prior to Jimmy Quinn's re-branding announcement, the then-HDCW Champion Markus Riot defended his title at the Insane Wrestling League. Riot's former bosses, Gary Yap and Beverly Hills were there as well as his new bosses, Jimmy Quinn, Fancy Rose and Jeff Meacham. HDCW, EPIC WAR and IWL all under one roof (well a tarp anyway)! Set aside some time for this one. About 101 minutes, actually! Trust us, it's worth it. For more information on EPIC WAR, visit www.epicprowrestlingwar.blogspot.com. For more information on Insane Wrestling League, visit www.iwlwrestling.com. WARNING: These episodes (being made by EPIC WAR) have strong language and adult content.
